1. Bricks of the same manufacturer and batch as the old bricks must be used for brick repair;

2. As far as possible, use the remaining loose bricks which are repaired at the same time as the old bricks (Note: damp or damaged bricks are strictly prohibited)

3. The contact surface of new and old bricks must be made with fire clay;

4. No iron plate should be made between the interface surface of new and old bricks;

5. The iron plates of the two sides of the lock brick shall not be made with iron plates, the iron plates of the adjacent two ring bricks shall be staggered with each other, and the iron plates on both sides of the same brick shall not be made with iron plates;

6. The iron plate must be completely driven into the brick joint;

7. The sealing of the first several rings of bricks must be inserted from the side, and the last ring of bricks should be sealed by inserting bricks in the front;

8. The masonry shall be carried out in strict accordance with the design brick ratio, and the masonry ratio shall not be changed at will;

9. The expansion joint paperboard of patching brick shall not be torn off, and the patching brick must be wet laid (the fire slurry plumpness shall be more than 95%. It is strictly forbidden to have fireclay at the big end and fireclay at the small end. If this happens, it shall be removed and rebuilt in time;

10. When mending, it is not necessary to use (or reduce) the use of processed bricks.

Principle of Mending: dig bricks from the weakest part of bricks, but not more than three rings at the same time. If it is continuous multi ring patching, in order to prevent the overall loosening of bricks, it is necessary to excavate and mend 2 rings first and then continue to excavate and mend backward. Pay attention to observe the tightness of the whole ring brick when digging the brick. If the brick is loose as a whole, stop digging and mending immediately. Insert the circumferential joints of the loose brick on both sides with the locking brick iron plate, and continue to dig and mend after confirming that it is not loose.
